For 3x5 bathroom rugs and 3x5 kitchen rugs, you’ll probably be thinking about moisture tolerance and comfort. Both these areas deal with liquids fairly frequently and you stand on them for some time (doing the dishes, chopping veggies, brushing your teeth, etc.).

I bought two of this particular rug pad. I have two different rugs that this pad went under. The first rug is an 8x10 thinner style polypropylene area rug. This pad gives the thinner rug a perfect amount of cushioning. The second rug is a thicker 3x5 wool rug inside our front door. This pad keeps the smaller sized rug in its place nicely. It is ideal for both rugs, as It doesn't add too much thickness to the rug, making it a trip hazard or visually it doesn't make the rugs look like they are floating from too much thickness.

I recently bought four Superior Lock pads for the oriental rugs on my hardwood floors. I now wish to buy rug pads for braided wool rugs in high traffic areas. Three of the rugs measure 3ft x 5ft. Will the same pad work well for these?
Yes, it will. But something thinner may work better if you need clearance. You could look at RugPro or Contour Lock. Both are low-profile felt and natural rubber non-slip pads. RugPro is 1/16" thick and Contour Lock is 1/8" thick.

Which of your rug pads are recommended for 3x5 bath rugs? That is, they are okay in a wet environment and are good on a tile floor.
I would recommend Anchor Grip since it is waterproof or you could look at Super Lock Natural which will work just as well. Both non-slip pads have a powerful grip that will stop your rugs from slipping on the tile floor.

My 3' 1/2" x 5' wool rug is at the bottom of my stairs on a marble floor. It has a cheap rug pad under it and is constantly sliding across the floor and off the pad. Plus, the pad bunches up. What kind of pad do you recommend for keeping it in place?
I recommend Contour Lock, a low-profile non-slip pad made of felt and natural rubber. It is just 1/8" thick and will stop your rug from sliding and slipping off the pad. Contour Lock also prevents bunching and wrinkling.

Our Superior-Lock is well-suited for your purposes.. It anchors your rug firmly to the floor while providing a thick layer of cushioned support . Our Comfort-Grip is for higher end rugs . They are both great pads and there is no real disadvantage to either unless you are trying to save mone. If that is the case, the Comfort-Grip pad is about $13.60 more than the Superior-Lock pad.

They should grip, although we usually don't recommend using them only because most of time the rubber is usually of lesser quality and so they damage floors.
