Nature's Grip
Product Details
A truly eco-friendly alternative to other traditional non-slip pads, Nature’s Grip weds hand-woven organic jute fibers to natural rubber to maximize your rug’s grip, protect your flooring and extend your rug's life.
Natural rubber is superior to harmful chemicals and adhesives used in synthetic PVC rug pads; it offers better non-skid properties than plastic and will “grip” rather than “stick to” floors. Ours is combined with a 100% plant jute base, one of the strongest naturally- produced materials available.
Nature’s Grip’s low profile is a perfect choice when door clearance or rug thickness is an issue. It’s also a favorite for runners and scatter rugs that should lie flat with flooring.

Customer Questions & Answers
-
Do I need a non-slip pad or a cushion pad?
Non-slip pads are best for high-traffic areas such as foyers and hallways, where thin rugs and runners are prone to slipping and sliding. Our cushion pads add a plush layer for large rugs already anchored by furniture, such as living and dining rooms. Should you decide you need a degree of both grip and cushioning, opt for a felt and rubber pad.
-
Why natural rubber vs. pvc?
Natural Rubber’s low off gassing properties and high grip levels provide a more natural, better performing rug pad than traditional plastic.
-
Can I wash this rug pad?
Nature’s Grip can be easily hand washed and we recommend you do this from time to time. Natural rubber should not be used in a washing or drying machine.
-
Does Nature’s Grip contain any odors?
Nature’s Grip is completely odorless. Typically overseas PVC padding treated with chemicals is what gives off potent odor.
-
What makes this rug pad so eco-friendly?
Nature’s Grip is made with handwoven organic jute fibers and Natural Rubber. It’s the most eco-friendly non slip rug pad for a truly greener home.

Which rug types work well with Nature’s Grip?
Nature’s grip is a very low profile rug pad that works well with all rug types. It’s ideal for those looking for maximum grip while allowing rugs to lay flush with floors.
-
Which floor types is Nature’s Grip safe for?
Nature’s Grip is safe for all floors and finishes as long as you follow your flooring manufacturer’s instructions and wait for proper curing times. Some of these manufacturers will recommend natural rubber while others will recommend a vinyl non slip pad.
