Let’s be clear here: our rug pads for linoleum floors are not the same as linoleum rugs.

Our pads are what you put on top of linoleum floors, linoleum tile, or linoleum plank flooring. They are not made of linoleum.

A linoleum area rug is an area rug made of linoleum. Lino floor mats are great for acting as a rug in areas that have to handle lots of spills and messes because they’re easier to clean. Our pads would be what you could put under your new linoleum rug (or vinyl rug).

The Best Rug Pad for Linoleum Floors and Small Rugs

If you’re looking for a carpet pad safe with linoleum for a small rug in the range of 3 x 5 to 6 x 9 (think kitchen mat or bathroom rug), we recommend getting a pad with some non slip grip. You want to keep that sucker in place exactly where you left it – no annoying readjustment or dangerous slipping.
